Tools of Your Trade

So, if you want to be a craftsman (or woman) you need the tools of your trade.

When you're learning guitar a $20 Chinese import from Walmart is fine but if you are going to take your music seriously you have got to start spending some real money.

The lead guitarist in my first band spent over $20,000 on guitars!

You don't have to go overboard but whether you're buying guitars, drums or sound equipment remember that you get what you pay for. The better the musician you become the more demanding you will be about the equipment you use.
